Age of Artisans is an expansion for the phenomenal worker placement game, Architects of the West Kingdom. The West Kingdom trilogy comes from designer Shem Phillips and Garphill Games. This is the follow-on collection after their initial ...of the North Sea trilogy. In the Age of Artisans expansion, you get a whole bunch of extra components for Architects. The most noteworthy is a deck of Craft cards. These offer multi-rewards to players that claim them. You can either play it as an Adornment to a Building that you've already paid for. This presents a one-off reward, plus bonus end-game points. Or, you can play it as a Tool, and apply it to an Apprentice card you've purchased. Every time that you send a worker to a location that Apprentice would trigger a reward, the Tool kicks in, too. This provides some weird and wonderful combos! It's a delight to build a different 'engine' each game. The Craft cards present you a whole new strategy in Architects. The way in which you claim them sees you stacking your workers in the Guildhall. They're a game-long investment! There's a new double-layered Guildhall overlay. Also, a minor tweak to the Black Market means you can acquire Craft cards via that means, too. There's extra Buildings and Apprentices for even more variety and ways to score points. Each player gets an Artisan worker, which counts as a double worker for the first time you play it. (Plus, it doesn't lose Virtue for doing dirty deeds, so use it with care!) You'll also find components for a sixth player (orange) to join in and an end-game score sheet. There's a whole lot of fun in this box! Please note that you need a copy of Archiects of the West Kingdom to play Age of Artisans. Player Count: 1-6 PlayersTime: 60-80 minutesAge: 12+

Wonderful, simple book for children of all ages
Format: Hardcover
I am 65 years old and this was one of my first books. The revisions along the way have not changed the drawings that much. It is simple, but well illustrated, and gives a basic idea of good manners. I recommend it for every child - it makes them think about behavior. The way the author demonstrates "me first" and "whinney" have stuck with me all these years.

Great for encouraging speech
Format: Board book
I rarely write reviews but I just had to share my experience with this book. I have two year old twins. One has a diagnosed speech delay. They both love this book and are excited to read it. It has simple pictures that are easy for them to recognize and picture everyday things. They both love imitating the sounds. I think it’s a great for speech therapy for toddlers. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for early speech skills
Format: Board book
Our first child was speech delayed, so we're hitting the ground running this time with our 1 year old. This Imitation Book is PERFECT for introducing those early gestures and words to your little ones. There are interactive pages (like a door for knocking on and bubbles to pop) that really help your child engage with the book. Also, our 3 year old loves it right alongside his little brother! We also picked up the other 2 books in this collection to help aid in those early language skills.

As an SLP I love this simple engaging book
Format: Board book
Speech path here. I love this book. It was one of my son’s favorites and what I used to help him produce more words from 1-2years. He was my slowest to talk but loved the engaging sounds in this book. It’s simple but you can add a lot of info or new comments each time you read it with encouragement for your kiddo to produce simple early developing sounds. I utilized pausing with it too to tie my son the chance to produce the sounds. I gift it often now! Just wish it was a tadddd cheaper.

Fun and interactive.
Format: Board book
My one-year-old granddaughter loves this little book. There's no story, but it's interactive and fun, and the illustrations are cute and colorful. She enjoys doing all the things on the pages - knocking, waving, blowing, etc.
