The Jeep Bar Pin Eliminator Shock Mount Kit upgrades your Jeep's shock mounts by replacing the standard bar pin design that often leads to bushing wear and annoying noises. This kit converts the shock mounting to a more durable EB1 eyelet style, preventing lateral movement of bushings and enhancing shock absorber performance and longevity.
Eliminate a common weak link on your Jeep by upgrading the shock mounts with this bar pin eliminator kit. The standard bar pin design used by most manufacturers provides no lateral support of the shock absorber bushings, causing excessive movement that distorts the bushings instead of deflecting impacts as intended. This results in "thumping" or "rattling" noises felt inside the vehicle cabin. This solution provides a heavy duty cross pin and mount blocks to convert the shock mounting to a standard EB1 eyelet, preventing noise and vibration caused by bushing movement. Shock absorber bushings are preloaded for better performance and longevity. Machined bushing surfaces reduce friction and wear, and the design retains the original mounting alignment to prevent stress on the shock absorber and bushing.
