This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard you need to make your own fabric treasure chest with hidden drawer, as shown in the pictures. The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project. The finished box will be 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 6 1/2". With this DIY kit there is no worries about cutting paper. The chipboard used in this kit is 100 point (0.1 in) thick, extra heavy, so this box will be very sturdy and well finished! Metal clasp and metal handle included. Fabric and other contents showed in pictures are not included.

For making the box you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (total fabric 1 3/4 yard - if using 3 fabrics can be 1/4 yard of one for small details and 3/4 yards each for the other ones), white PVA glue (Glue All - Elmer's), rotary cutter, cutting board, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, masking tape, scissor, paper awl, small pieces of ribbon. Optional: small charm or D-ring.

Cartonnage tools (spatula, acrylic spacers and corner tool) will facilitate the process and give a better finishing for your project. Find them in the tools section of the shop.
