De Damilano Barolo Lecinquevigne is een krachtige rode wijn uit Italië. Hij komt uit de Barolo-regio in Piemonte, in het noorden van Italië. Deze wijn is gemaakt van 100 % Nebbiolo-druiven, afkomstig uit vijf uitstekende wijngaarden (vandaar de naam “Lecinquevigne”). De wijn rijpt ongeveer 24 maanden op grote eikenhouten vaten (botte) en krijgt daarna nog minstens 12 maanden flesrijping voor hij wordt vrijgegeven.

In de neus ontvouwt zich een complex boeket van rozen, leer, tabak, viooltjes en een subtiele toets van teer. In de mond is hij vol en omhullend, met rijpe kersen, pruim, mineraliteit en zachte, fijne tannines. De afdronk is lang, elegant en fijn gestructureerd. Deze Barolo past uitstekend bij gestoofd vlees, wildgerechten, paddenstoelen of gerijpte kazen. Serveer op circa 16-18 °C.

Wijnhuis Damilano
Damilano is een familiebedrijf met diepgewortelde traditie: de oorsprong gaat terug naar 1890 toen Giuseppe Borgogno begon met het verbouwen van druiven in Barolo. Sinds 1997 wordt de zaak geleid door de jongere generaties – Paolo, Mario en Guido – die klassieke technieken combineren met moderne inzichten. Cannubi geldt als de vlaggenschip-wijngaard van Damilano en wordt vaak gezien als een soort Grand Cru van Barolo vanwege zijn uitzonderlijke bodemkenmerken en elegantie.

My main use for this may be different than most people. I was taking care of some kittens and wanted to keep them away from sensitive areas of the living room (wires, home theater equipment, etc.). The hinges actually fold both ways, so you get some versatile configuration options. It is lightweight and easy to move around, making it very easy to stash out of the way when not in use. I was so pleased that I went and bought 2 of the smaller 4-panel dividers as well, to use in a different area.

Quite honestly I dont normally give poor reviews. I dont normally get poorly made products from Amazon but this time has changed things for me. I will order very little and will especially be mindful of anything made in China! This divider arrived in an intact but wet box. It took me nearly 20 minutes to get it to unfold. The two outside panels flipped out freely but for some reason I had to work to get the other panels to unfold. When it did open, the second panel was clearly damaged. I proceeded to prepare it for return, taped it up securely, requested and received a return label and traveled to the UPS store to return. Wouldn't you know it...UPS shipping charges were $154.00!!! More than I paid for this inferior product. So, if I return on my dollar and hope it makes it to the appointed destination and receive $151.99 for the return cost, I'm out $154.00 and no product to show for it! Its amazing how sellers come up with ways to unload their junk and then prevent satisfied customers by making them pay for the return shipping costs. I opted to keep the junk and consider it a lesson learned. What a scam!
