The thick viscous fluid flows languidly, often in a swirly circular motion. The slow speed of the flow means that it not only takes several minutes to completely run through, but it is quite calming to watch. At times the speed of the ooze flow may vary depending on the warmth of the temperature of the room. The warmer the temperature, the faster the ooze will flow through the tube. In colder weather the flow may be slower as the ooze is thickens up in cooler temperatures.
