Now, phones and pastries in hand, the ladies take it upon themselves to uncover the truth, despite the sheriff’s — one of the ladies’ doting nephews —insistence to leave matters well enough alone. Will the Basement Ladies uncover the murderer before it’s too late, or will they end up caught in the crossfire?
