As Hurston's fans know, all of her novels draw upon her deep interest in folklore, particularly from her home state of Florida. Here we see the roots of that work, from the wonderful folktale of the monstrous alligator living in a local lake to her recording of folk songs to her work on children's games and the black church. There are also fiery and controversial essays on race and the work of black artists. In a biographical essay, Pamala Bordelon, with the help of Hurston's niece, has re-created the years during which Hurston was working for the FWP and living in Eatonville. She has put together the portrait of a serious writer and folklorist who was running tight on money, but big on spirit. Decent driver, but no real torque control

As others have noted, this driver works well overall, but would be better if the head could go to 90° instead of just 45°, and it comes in an extremely hard to open package. I'd like to point out a couple of other things that I haven't seen mentioned.
First, although this tool claims to have torque control via the three-level setting on the handle, it's not like most drills and drivers. With them, when the maximum torque setting is reached, a clutch disengages and the tool just 'freewheels.' But this Skil driver runs until the motor stalls, and its three settings merely control when that happens. In practical terms, that means the tool can wrench your wrist pretty badly. Even at the lowest setting the torque is considerable, making it all too easy to strip threads or even break off screw heads. This also makes it more likely to injure your wrist.
Also, in case it wasn't obvious, this tool's battery is not user-replaceable. If it runs out of power in the middle of a job... too bad. And when eventually it gets to the point where it will no longer hold a charge, Skil's only suggestion is to "Have the tool serviced by an Authorized SKIL Service Station." If you can find one, that is. If you don't want a disposable tool, this is probably not for you.
Don't get me wrong--I like this driver, and it has already come in handy in a few situations where my regular drill/driver would have been too bulky to fit. But it's good to know its limitations.
Skil also makes a smaller, less expensive 4 V screwdriver that lacks the adjustable-angle head of this one. If a straight power screwdriver is all you need, that one is worth considering:
